WHY Letters to America

I'm an American dad and I'm fed up with the fighting in my country, and if nobody else is willing to stand up and say this, I will.

America belongs to all Americans. Not to Congress. Not to the wealthy. Not to the president. Not to the media. 

We citizens are responsible for letting that get away from us, for too long. Our loyalty -- all of us -- belongs to one thing only: the U.S. Constitution

It's time to grow up, get along, and fight.

We absolutely have the power to take back our country, to change and improve things, through bold and peaceful means. Our leadership clearly won't or can't do it, so we must.

Starting now.  By being loud. By being smart. Being human and present and responsible and committed.

Our strategy is to build a coalition of average Americans that represent the "middle" 60 percent of the American political spectrum

We want to steer the crazy car back onto the highway.

Because that middle 60 percent is a silent American majority. . . the sane middle. . . the majority who understand compromise, who know there are burning issues that cannot wait any longer. They are the Americans who simply want to live a good, healthy, happy and free.

Our goal is to intervene in the current political dialogue and put an end to the horseshit happening in and out of Washington, the crap from both parties that ignores important issues, makes American life harder and more expensive.

We identify the salient issues that we all agree upon, the ermegency stuff we MUST agree upon, and we leave everything else for a new day.  we all push forward, from the middle. We leave the extremists behind. We leave the fringes to their own devices, and we alone move in a spirit of compromise and agreement, to address real problems instead of using public office to fuck around and play games on our taxpayer dollars.

We don't use violence. We don't perform. We don't whine.

We are Americans.
